Kibale Forest National Park, Uganda - November 2018
A privately arranged safari staying at Primate Lodge, which is conveniently situated next to the entrance ranger station of Kibale Forest National Park. The park is a mecca for primate enthusiasts, boasting 11 different species of primates. Over a six day perioed we did a mixture of both the Chimpanzee Habituation Experience (CHEX) and the Chimpanzee Trekking, and also visited the nearby Bigodi Wetlands. The purpose of the visit was to photograph chimpanzees, and we were lucky enough to have a whole series of superb encounters.
