This was a phototour hosted by Marsel van Oosten and Daniella Sibbing to two different parts of China to see two different species of Snub-nosed Monkeys. Of course, it was a photo of Golden Snub-nosed Monkeys that won Marsel the Grand Title in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition in October 2018. Clearly we couldn't have had a better person to guide us in photographing the monkeys!The tour involved some lengthy walks, including trekking at an altitude of approximately 10,000 feet in Diqing Tibetan Region to see the Yunnan Monkeys. But it was certainly worth it! The Monkeys were spectacular, presenting multiple opportunities in beautiful settings. Many thanks to Marsel and all the Squiver team
