A private trip with Brazil wildlife specialists Brasil Aventuras to two locations in Brazil's Amazon Rainforest. 5 nights at the beautiful Cristalino Lodge and 6 nights at the remote Roosevelt Lodge. Both lodges are named from the Amazonian rivers where they are situated. Roosevelt is one of the most remote places you can imagine - pristine rainforest 90 minutes by plane from the nearest city, and 4 hours by speedboat to the nearest village! At both locations we did a mixture of hikes through the dense forest looking mainly for primates in the canopy, and boat excursions on the mighty rivers. Certainly an experience of a lifetime - the remoteness, the size of the rivers and the vastness of the humid forest will live with me forever.
